Bald Hills Wind Farm

Marais provided the installation of 46km of fiber optic, electric and earth cables over a three-month period at Bald Hills Wind Farm (VIC) for the connection of this AU$300 million dollar project, using 1 x Marais Trencher (SM).  

The Bald Hills Wind Farm is an exciting project that will supply clean and sustainable renewable energy. This project will contribute positively towards meeting the challenges of climate change. It comprises 52 SENVION wind turbines of 2.05MW capacity each and its sub-stations.

Work also included establishing a site at Bald Hills ensuring strict safety and environmental controls and documentation for operational staff, subcontractors, suppliers and equipment to the site.
